1) it will give us all kinds of wonderful new projects. And if you know Nanette, you know all her projects are really great! And,
2) maybe we'll (I'll) not wait until the last minute to get all my holiday sewing done!
And honestly, after the rush was over and the paper and baubles all put away. There were already thoughts to next year. Yes, I'm adding two more projects to my list.
- I want a Christmas runner. I really loved the Moda's Christmas line this year, so I'm going to make a runner out of the Merry and Bright jelly roll I purchased.
I don't know why, but I really enjoyed these fabrics. - I am going to make a bed-sized Christmas quilt for one of my Children. Two of them loved the Happy Howlidays (doggy) Christmas fabric from Moda. I used some of if on the back of THIS quilt, and she'll out grow the fabric soon enough. So I'll make this one for my youngest, I picked up the fabrics at GREAT post-season prices:
I am hoping this will be a really easy patchwork project!

Good for you for planning so far ahead! I am going to try to do the same thing. I have a runner started for Christmas that I didn't have time to finish, so it is on my list for next Christmas. I am hoping that when December comes next year, I will be finished with handmade gifts.:)
I love the moda holiday line, too.
Snap, snap. I also have a project started and not finished only it is a tapestry and although not only for Xmas, that was my original goal. I agree with you in not waiting till last minute. Thing is when summer is here, bye bye cosy and safe indoors!! :) lol
ps: I like very much the colours of your jelly roll.
oh I'm in awe of anyone who can honestly work at Christmas gifts throughout the year... more power to you! I'll just store up your great ideas and then wish I had time to do them all about November... :-)

I love the colors you've picked up. You must be feeling the coming of spring to have chosen the colors.
Let us know what pattern you are going to chose for the quilts.
