Outside My Window

Here are a few pictures of my front yard. It's been snowing and snowing and snowing.

What you can't see is that I have a circular driveway with a pond in the middle that measures about 20 to 25 feet across and dips down about 10 feet. You can't see this at all in our front yard because it's so covered in snow!

It's really a perfect day to be at home with a fire and the sewing machine! But unfortunately that is not to be! It's another busy day!

Fortunately, the roads just beyond my little neighborhood are very well tended to!

Awww, it looks like a postcard picture. Very prety. I agree it should be the time to sit in front a fire, a cup of tea, good company and of course enjoy the time. Very pretty and good thoughts indeed.

Good Morning Dionne, what marvelous snow pictures!! You guys really got hit hard!! My part of WI has missed the heaviest snowfall of the past few storms, BUT.....we defintely got the minus tempertures and high windchill. Those also make it a good day to stay by the fire and stitch.
Thanks for popping in again at Pieces, and the merriest and bright of holiday for you and yours. Hugs, Finn

Just me again *VBS* I meant to tell how pretty Ina's quilt is, and personally I LOVE that you did a random(creative and maverick)backing!
And I think your take on the UFO situtation is wonderful. I'm now going to give some serious thought to my remaining UFO's since the 12 or so I've finished barely make a dent in waht needs finishing. I'll be back to see what you are up to *VBS* Big hugs, Finn again
