I was participating in a 9-patch block exchange. We all made simple 9-patch blocks for each other and swapped what we made.
I have been planning on taking the blocks and making a disappearing 9-patch with them. That will have to wait until after the holidays, when I'm finished with all my UFO's and holiday sewing. But I thought you might want to see all the blocks I've amassed so far:

Your nine patches look great. You must get a good variety with an exchange. The disappearing 9 patch is such a fun pattern. I hope it turns out well.
beautiful photos. We do not have snow yet either
Hi Dionne
Thank you for visiting my blog. I'm sorry I could not reply to you directly because you have your settings as non-reply. Summer has started down here in New Zealand and if this weekend is anything to go by it is going to be a hot one. That water and ice looks so refreshing :-)
I have always loved 9-patch.. lots of things you can do with it actually.
But I've had enough of the cold weather already thankyou! :-D
I have to comment on your photos - just beautiful! You live in my favorite place on earth, western Washington. I lived in Normandy Park for several years and miss it still!
