A Little behind on Cam's Calender Quilt

We're a little behind on our Calender quilt, but last night we finished another block.

This one is being proudly displayed on my little guy's lap.

He is already getting a little anxious about when his quilt will be finished, Uh oh, it's only March!

Perhaps we won't have a full 52 bricks in our calendar quilt after all!

Is that pattern already got the quilting batting and back on it?
It looks like it.
I love the cheeriness of the block.
A good superman is holding that on his knees.

Are you quilting as you go? Nine more months is going to seem like a long time for hime! It could be the first half of 2009 quilt.:)

I think I get more anxious than the kids when it comes to the finished project. Nothing wrong with a half year quilt that can be joined with another. Love the display rack.

Awww.. I love that little section with his name and the year on it.

Thank you so much for the package! It was sitting on my cutting mat all week unbeknown to me.

I guess a year is a really, really long time when you are a little guy (even in your superman sleepers!)

Yeah, I guess that is a long time for a little guy to wait, huh? It will be great no matter how big it is, though.

Have you thought about putting some sections together as you go, maybe monthly? It might help some with the anxiety. It's so hard to wait when you're little, even if you are Superman!

I tend to agree with the other comments. Its gonna be very hard for ur lil superman to wait till year end to see the end product. Gotta do more placating. Even me myself cant wait to see the finish Calender Quilt. Cheers

This is such a sweet idea. I really like the strips of scrappy fabric. So fun.
