I really love this pattern and I think it would look great in Pat Sloan's new fabric line Arabella:
Pat actually specializes in beautiful applique. I don't do applique. I love piecing and I don't blink twice at a million little triangles, but give me the simpliest of applique and I quake in my boots!
But if you are an applique type of quilter you might want to check out the lovely kit that Pat is putting together on her website and blog.
I am not an applique person either. I keep thinking I should try it but then I get cold feet. Did you win a kit?
ReplyDeleteNow girls... applique is SO EASY when you do fusible by machine... key word... MACHINE!!
ReplyDeletehehe.... come work on something with me.. it's not hard.. I PROMISE!

Hi Dionne, congratulations!! It's lovely to win, no matter what! The pattern is a fun one, and those fabric look like winners to me.
ReplyDeleteI haven't forgotten about your "tag", I'll get to it tomorrow for sure. I'm having a hard time thinking of ways that I'm weird or interesting, but I'll come up with something *VBS*
