It was a really interesting technique to learn because I'd never really seen it before. It gives your design a look of being seen through the shadows and highlights your quilting. Which I was supposed to do by hand... but didn't.
Cheers,
DionneDionnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12394855712257519904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317473904379207731.post-28800815517043101262009-03-10T07:19:00.000-07:002009-03-10T07:19:00.000-07:00Laurene Sinema's book, Applique! In the book she has a heart done in 9 different techniques including: Mola, Celtic, Running Stitch, Broderie Perse, Shadow, Hawaiian, Button Hole Stitch, Pa andu, and Stained Glass. They are only about 6 inches each so you get to try a new technique without a lot of commitment.YankeeQuilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03324287185970922332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1317473904379207731.post-52596694067576242352009-03-10T07:05:00.000-07:002009-03-10T07:05:00.000-07:00This is so interesting..
